University of Iowa Libraries

A collection of tiny books in the palm of a hand

The University of Iowa Libraries, with seven campus libraries, are integrally connected with the academic, research, and creative endeavors on campus. Library staff work actively to boost student success, collaborate with faculty, and assist in classrooms across the university. Our librarians are subject specialists trained to serve as expert resources in a broad range of fields.

The University Libraries also serves the entire state of Iowa, providing assistance with a broad range of questions, lending materials, and serving as an advocate for libraries of all sizes in schools and towns across the state.
